PellerMax is the next generation in foul release coatings. Developed with the latest technology from Europe, PellerMax does not use any carcinogenic zinc chromate but does contain a non marine pollutant anti corrosive pigment.
Because PellerMax does not contain zinc chromate we are able to manufacture it clear – you no longer have to cover your running gear and underwater lights with the yellow zinc chromate colour – leaving your propellers, shafts, struts and lights to stay their natural colour. PellerMax is suitable for use on aluminium, bronze, stainless steel, nibral, carbon fibre and underwater lights.
PellerMax has been specifically designed to reduce fuel costs and increase your speed by eliminating barnacle growth on your running gear.
REDUCED FUEL COSTS
Running gear fouling increases friction, meaning more fuel being burnt. PellerMax keeps running gear free from bio fouling therefore less fuel consumption and more speed.
Fouling of running gear slows boat speed. PellerMax's exceptionally smooth surface prevents fouling, giving you more speed.
NON MARINE POLLUTANT
PellerMax is an environmentally safe, non marine pollutant coating that does not contain any zinc chromate or biocides. PellerMax has been developed with the latest technology from Europe.
ZERO ZINC CHROMATE
PellerMax epoxy etch primer is 100% zinc chromate free while retaining all of the properties of being an anti corrosive primer. Zinc Chromate is a well know carcinogenic and there is a world wide push to ban zinc chromate from being used in the marine industry.
ONE COAT EPOXY ETCH PRIMER
Many foul release systems are a two coat etching primer, with a small window for over coating with the topcoat. PellerMax is a one coat epoxy etch primer system with an extended window for over coating with a silicone based clear topcoat. Now you will be able prime the entire running gear then go back and apply the topcoat using one applicator – saving time, product and labour.
DEVELOPED & MANUFACTURED IN NZ
PellerMax is 100% New Zealand made and developed with the assistance of our European technology partners who have been active in the foul release industry for many years. We are proud members of the NZ Marine Industry Association and the NZ Marine Export Group.
