Comments: Immaculate steel hull with super yacht finish. This elegant and classic staysail ketch (with fisherman) has stood the test of time. Launched in 1972 in Fiji and fitted out at Pattons boatyard in Sydney, Tau has continuously chartered in Fiji and throughout pacific waters including Kiribati, PNG, Solomons, Australia, New Zealand, Cook Islands, Samoa, Tonga, French Polynesia and Christmas Island. Following a re-fit in Brisbane in 1999, she completed a world circumnavigation and today continues occassional chartering in Fiji and with much time spent between her owners homes in Suva and the Lau group. Tau has been periodically maintained over the years in New Zealand (1st major re-fit) and at Norman Wright & Sons in Brisbane, Australia. Her recommended charter capacity is 4 persons.
